WESM Hosts Exhibit Presentation and Reception at UWFox

The Weis Earth Science Museum (WESM) is the site of a special presentation scheduled for Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. “The Adventures of Mineral Prospecting in the Rocky Mountains” is being presented by Mike Riesch, Bill Kamke, and Mike Kamke. A reception for their exhibit, “Treasure Under the Trees: Crystal Collecting in the Colorado Rockies,” is being held immediately after the presentation.
Riesch is the Director of the Earthaven Museum in Gillett, WI and is the guest curator for the exhibit, according to Joanne Kluessendorf, WESM Director. The presentation and reception is free and open to the public.
The “Treasure Under the Trees: Crystal Collecting in the Colorado Rockies” exhibit is on display in the WESM until May 31, 2005.
The WESM is located on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, 1478 Midway Road in Menasha.
