The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is offering five adventure-filled days in June for theatre enthusiasts who will experience two outstanding plays, and a "surprise" play to be named in the near future. Travel dates for the 2013 New York Theatre Trip are Wednesday, June 5 through Sunday, June 9. Tour group leaders include Susan Rabideau, UWFox theatrical director and associate professor of Communication Arts, and Bill Stachour, navigator for the tour group while in New York City.

According to the UWFox Office of Continuing Education, who is coordinating the NewYork Theatre Trip, current selected plays for the 2013 trip are "Newsies" and "The Phantom of the Opera." The third and final "surprise" non-musical play will be selected and announced in February.

Participants will spend four nights at the New York Marriott Hotel, located in the world famous Times Square. Group members can explore the city's most popular attractions on their own, or with group leaders Rabideau and Stachour. This annual UWFox trip is an exciting adventure in one of America's most vibrant and diverse cities.

Register soon and don't miss out. The price includes round-trip motor coach to Milwaukee and air transportation to New York; four nights at the New York Marriott Hotel; three plays; a group tour of some of New York's many "must see" attractions with professional New York guide Jane Marx; and optional excursions with trip leaders, Rabideau and Stachour.

The fee is $1889 per person, based on double occupancy. For single occupancy please add $600. There is a $100 non-refundable deposit that needs to be submitted with a registration. Suggested deadline to register for the "Theatre in New York Trip" is May 15, 2012.

Play selections and group itinerary details will be made available during Spring 2013. There will also be a pre-trip orientation meeting to discuss the trip as well as to address questions.
