UW-Fox Valley Offers Summer 2005 Youth Enrichment Programs

The Office of Continuing Education at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is now taking registration for its 2005 summer youth enrichment program. These programs target students entering grades one through eight in the fall of 2005.
“Ready, Set, Discover” takes place on June 21, 22 and 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is designed for students entering grades 1 and 2 in 2005.
“College For Kids,” now in its seventh year, is scheduled for the week of July 11 – 15, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. with activities designed for students entering grades 3 – 6 in 2005.
“Sports for Kids” offers coed volleyball for the week of July 11 – 15, from 9:00 a.m. to noon for students entering 5 – 8 in 2005. Coed basketball is offered during the week of July 18-21, from 9:00 a.m to noon for students entering Kindergarten – second grade in 2005. Coed baseball is on the agenda for the week of July 25 – 28, from 9:00 a.m to noon for students entering grades 3 – 5 in 2005.
“Middle School University” is designed for students entering grades 6 – 8 in 2005, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. during the week of July 25 – 29.
“MindStorms Mission™” is another program for students entering grades 6 through 8 in 2005, with various sessions based on skill levels and experience available throughout the summer.
“Grandparents’ University at UWFox,” a program that pairs children between the ages of 7 – 14 in activities with a grandparent, is offered on August 4 and 5.
All programs and activities take place on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, and are coordinated by the Office of Continuing Education. Registration for all programs, except “Grandparents' University at UWFox,” are accepted by mail, in person or online. Individuals may register for “Grandparents’ University at UWFox” by mail or in person.
An “early bird” discount is being offered through May 27.
