Chicago’s Famed Comedy Troupe, The Second City, to Perform at UWFox

The Second City, the legendary comedy troupe that launched the careers of a countless number of the comedy world’s greatest stars will be performing their classic sketch and improvisational comedy in a show entitled Truth, Justice or The American Way at The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley on February 28 at noon in the campus Fine Arts Theatre.
The Second City has launched the careers of thousands of comic performers in its forty-five plus history, including comic legends Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Bill Murray, Catherine O’Hara, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, John Candy, Dan Aykroyd, Martin Short, George Wendt, Fred Willard, Alan Arkin and more.
“Truth, Justice or The American Way” features the next generation of comic greats performing a diverse array of sketches and songs, as well as off the cuff improvisation that can provide completely unexpected comic brilliance. From the battle of the sexes to the battles at the voting booth, The Second City provides a hilarious and insightful look into contemporary American culture.
