UWFox is proud to announce the addition of Lee Rabas as the new athletic director.
Rabas has led the UWFox Men's Basketball program as its head coach for the past five seasons. During that time the team has captured three WCC-East regular season championships (2011-2013) and three WCC conference tournament championships (2011, 2013, 2014) on its way to a 117-17 overall record.
“Coach Rabas brings 24 years of successful coaching experience to his new role as head of the Cyclones athletic department,” said Dr. Martin Rudd, CEO and campus dean. “We’re excited to see how he will enrich the department as its leader and we’re confident he will use his extensive knowledge of athletics in the region to further improve the overall experience for our students.”
Rabas holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a master’s degree in exercise and sport science, both from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. He has been a physical education instructor in the Neenah School District since 1996 and is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
