UW-Fox Valley Hosts National Expert for Presentation
University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is hosting a very special - and timely - presentation by a nationally recognized medical expert. George Mejicano, MD, MS, of the Department of Medical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is going to be speaking on "Emerging Infectious Diseases." His presentation begins at noon in Room #1229 at the Menasha campus, on Monday, November 5.
Dr. Mejicano is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine and Assistant Dean of Continuing Medical Education at the UW-Madison Medical School. His areas of medical expertise include the topics of emerging infections; hepatitis C infection; sinusitis and otitis media; sexually transmitted diseases; meningitis; and community acquired pneumonia.
The presentation is free and open to the public. Members of the media are invited to attend. Free parking is available on the west side of the campus. UW-Fox Valley is located at 1478 Midway Road, between S. Oneida St. on the east, S. Appleton Road on the west, and south of Hwy. #441.
