The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley and the Northeast Wisconsin Consortium for Adult Education (NEWCAE) are hosting a Community Education Fair on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 on the UW Fox campus, in the Student Union from 12-6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
“This event gives returning adult students the opportunity to start or continue their college education. They can learn how to afford their college education. We can explain to attendees how they can earn their degree through convenient evening classes, and how to register for Spring 2004 if they want to enroll,” according to UW Fox’s Adult Student Services Advisor, Jill Gordee.
The purpose of this event is to demonstrate the need for lifelong learning in the Fox Cities’ communities, as well as to provide community and corporate representatives with up-to-date information about educational options for their clients and employees. Representatives from 16 private, public and technical colleges throughout Northeast Wisconsin are scheduled to be available with information about their respective classes and degrees.
NEWCAE, in collaboration with business, industry and other local community organizations, exists to offer services that encourage, promote and provide higher and continuing education opportunities for adult learners.
