Due to an overwhelming response to the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley’s “College Preview Night” on Thursday, April 22, the session has already reached its full seating capacity. UWFox cannot accept any more registrations for the April 22 session. However, UWFox has added an additional session, and is hosting its newly scheduled “College Preview Night” on Tuesday, April 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The additional session is also targeted at high school students, parents of high school students, and prospective adult students. This new “College Preview Night” session is being held in the campus’ Union.
Those attending the newly scheduled “College Preview Night” on April 27 will have the same agenda as those attending the April 22 session, including obtaining information about college life in general, the UWFox admission process and academic programs that are available to college students. In addition, a panel of current UWFox students and faculty members will share their thoughts and perspectives about college life, and what incoming college students can expect when they begin their own collegiate experience.
Other activities scheduled for UWFox’s “College Preview Night” on April 27 include a welcoming presentation by a campus administrator, an optional tour of the campus, and a question and answer session with members of the UWFox Student Services staff.
In addition to UWFox’s traditionally strong freshman and sophomore curriculum, the campus also offers five collaborative bachelor’s degrees that include Organizational Administration or Leadership Development through UW-Oshkosh; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering through UW-Platteville; and American Studies through UW-Stevens Point. All the course work for these bachelor’s degree programs are offered at the UWFox campus in Menasha.
Pre-registration for the new April 27 "College Preview Night" is requested. More information can be obtained and pre-registration and can be done by calling 920-832-2620 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
