Are you looking for an opportunity to increase specific job skills, or perhaps looking to learn some new skills or meet some new people? How about that goal to get involved in an exercise class to get you in shape for the coming spring and summer months, and to burn off some of those holiday season calories?
All of those options – and more – are available through the Office of Continuing Education at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley in Menasha. The Spring 2005 catalog is now available by calling the Office of Continuing Education at 920-832-2636 or online at www.uwfox.uwc.edu/conted/.
Cathy Paynter, Director of Continuing Education, said, “We are constantly looking at classes that meet the needs of an ever-changing audience. In the past few years we’ve expanded our offerings to include an extensive on-line curriculum.”
Online courses include a non-credit Business Communication Certificate comprised of five core courses and two electives. The certificate can be completed within one year. In addition to the online certificate program, the Office of Continuing Education offers more than 150 other online courses, such as computer application, personal enrichment, and business management. For a complete listing, visit www.ed2go.com/uwfox/.
There are also a wide variety of “face-to-face” classes provided, including art, computer applications, health and wellness, foreign language and more. The format of each class depends on what’s needed to cover the content. Some classes are as short as one night for 90 minutes. Other classes, such as “Choosing Wellness…Health Mind and Fit Body,” run throughout the entire year.
Course offering information can be found at http://www.uwfox.uwc.edu/conted/. Individuals can register online, by phone, using a credit card, in person or by mail. For more information contact Cathy Paynter, Director of Continuing Education, at 920-832-2636 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
