Metamorphoses by Mary Zimmerman
Called by Time the "theater event of the year," Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses brings Ovid's tales to stunning visual life. Set in and around a large pool of water onstage, Metamorphoses juxtaposes the ancient and the contemporary in both language and image to reflect variety and persistence in the face of inevitable change. Nominated for three 2002 Tony Awards, including "Best Play".
"Writer-director Mary Zimmerman's lovely, deeply affecting work ... recaptures the primal allure of the theater... It shows that theater can provide not just escape but sometimes a glimpse of the divine." -Time
"Funny one moment, achingly sorrowful the next, Metamorphoses somehow manages both to lift you out of the moment you're living in and speak to it with piercing directness." -Wall Street Journal

The Laramie Project A special performance from the Drama Club
"Remarkable... (a) probing and distinctive theatre piece... assembled with care, compassion and dollops of comic relief..." Daily News
"An amazing piece of theatre...Out of the Shepard tragedy is wrenched art."-The New York Post
On October 7, 1998, a young gay man was discovered bound to a fence in the hills outside Laramie, Wyoming, savagely beaten and left to die in an act of brutality and hate that shocked a nation. The Tectonic Theatre Project went to Laramie, Wyoming in the aftermath of Matthew Shepard’s brutal murder. After two years and two hundred interviews The Laramie Project emerged. Shepard’s death became a national symbol of intolerance, but for the people of Laramie the event was deeply personal, and it is 60 of their voices that we hear in this theatre piece.

Forever Plaid
One of the most popular and successful musicals in recent memory, this deliciously goofy revue center on four young, eager male singers killed in a car crash in the 1950s on the way to their first big concert and now miraculously revived for the posthumous chance to fulfill their dreams and perform the show that never was! Beloved songs and delightful patter that will keep you rolling in the aisles when you’re not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop hits of the 50’s.
The songs the Plaids sing include: "Three Coins in the Fountain"; "Undecided"; "Gotta Be This or That"; "Moments to Remember"; "Crazy 'Bout Ya, Baby"; "No, Not Much"; "Sixteen Tons"; "Chain Gang"; "Perfidia"; "Cry"; "Heart and Soul"; "Lady of Spain"; "Scotland the Brave"; "Shangri-La"; "Rags to Riches"; and "Love is a Many-Splendored Thing".
