Background before UWFox:

“I graduated from Appleton West in spring 2008. I worked as a car washer and detailer at Kolosso Toyota Scion during my high school years at Appleton West. While I haven’t done any interesting trips yet I’m looking forward to traveling to China in the near future.”

Why did you choose UWFox?

“I chose to enroll at UWFox because it was convenient for me.  I wanted to start off small and then gradually build on what I want to pursue in the future.  UWFox has low tuition and offers opportunities just like any four year campus. “

Have you chosen a major?

“When I first chose to go to UWFox I hadn’t made a decision as to what my major would be.  Now I know that I will be majoring in Elementary Education.”

What are you learning that you find interesting and rewarding at UWFox?

“UWFox offers many great opportunities for me.  During the years I attended UWFox I made many great friends and acquired a great deal of knowledge.  The environment here at the campus is great.  What is rewarding at UWFox is the communication with my professors.  Students at UWFox get easy access to their professors and have the opportunities for one-on-one discussion with their professors.”

What are your career plans after UWFox?

“After I finish my coursework at UWFox I plan to transfer to UW-Milwaukee to continue my college education.”

Other interesting things you’d like to share?

“I competed on the men’s tennis team here at UWFox for two years and enjoyed it very much.  During my first year I played as the #3 singles and won the State Championship at the Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison at the 2009 Wisconsin Junior College Athletic Association State/Conference Tournament.  In my second year I played as #1 singles and won the State Championship in Madison at the 2010 WJCAA State/Conference Tournament.”
