When attended UWFox: Fall of 2010 through Spring 2012

Background before UWFox:

I attended Oshkosh West HS and graduated in spring 2010. During the time I was in high school I worked at The Mane Attraction Hair Salon and Day Spa as well as at Stannard Dry Cleaners. While in high school I made spring break trips to vacation in Florida.

Why did you choose UWFox?

I liked the idea that UWFox has smaller classroom sizes. At the time of deciding where to go to college, I had no idea as to what I wanted to major in so I thought UWFox was a great place to start off my college career and take the general education classes. I also liked the idea that I would be saving a lot of money by coming to UWFox.

Have you chosen a major?

What are you learning that you find interesting and rewarding at UWFox?

I found that I meet a lot of great people here at UWFox. It is such a comfortable environment to meet people but still a great place to learn!

What are your career plans after UWFox?

My next step after UWFox is moving down to Kentucky to transfer to and earn my bachelor’s degree at the University of Louisville. I planned on moving down to Kentucky because my aunt opened up a Jamba Juice store and suggested that I work for her and that I live with her. I think that it’s a great opportunity to move down there and try something new!

Other interesting things about yourself that you’d like to share?

During the spring 2012 semester, I was in the production of “Hairspray” here at UWFox. It was an awesome experience! I love doing theater actives. During all four years of high school I was involved in the musicals there. Besides being on the stage acting and singing, I love to dance. I danced at Richard’s School of the Dance in Oshkosh for fourteen years and was on the OWHS varsity dance team for three years. This past year at UWFox, I was on the dance team. It was really cool that UWFox had a dance team and that I was able to stay active with dance. I hope to still do theater activities and find dance classes to attend when I move to Kentucky.
