The last time a total solar eclipse crossed the United States was on June 8, 1918! THIS IS AN EVENT THAT IS 99 YEARS IN THE MAKING! As with most awesome astronomical events - it is better to experience them with a group. Although all the Barlow astronomers will be in the path of totality, the Barlow will be streaming the eclipse from NASA on the dome (seating is limited), have a limited number of solar telescopes (weather permitting) for safe direct viewing of the Sun, AND will be selling Eclipse Shades (while supplies last). IT IS EXPECTED THAT OUR SUPPLY OF ECLIPSE SHADES WILL NOT LAST UNTIL ECLIPSE DAY - PLEASE GET THEM EARLY!
