Three faculty members at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, a UW Oshkosh campus, were recently approved for promotions or tenure by the UW System Board of Regents. Pictured above are: (left to right) Evan Kreider, Jill Halverson and Teresa Weglarz.
Evan Kreider, Ph.D., philosophy, was promoted from associate professor to professor. He received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy and English literature from SUNY Potsdam, a master’s degree in library and information science from SUNY Albany, a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Kansas, and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Kansas. He received tenure in 2011.
Jill Halverson, MBA, business, was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor with tenure. She received a bachelor’s degree in sociology and earned her MBA from UW Oshkosh.
Teresa Weglarz, Ph.D., biological sciences, was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor with tenure. She received a bachelor’s degree in physiology from Michigan State University and her Ph.D. in molecular and environmental toxicology from UW-Madison.
