The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley recently presented two awards recognizing outstanding contributions by employees.
Kris Kissling, UWFox CASE (Center for Academic Success and Student Engagement) associate received the Larry D. White Award for university staff. He is a graduate of UWFox and held various IT jobs since his return to campus. A strong advocate for campus projects like UCard, he is the campus point of contact for technology questions.
Kathy Hopper, UWFox developmental math instructional program manager and mathematics lecturer received the Marilee White Award for instructional academic staff. Hopper has been a part of the developmental math program at UWFox since 2007. She has been a strong voice for students and promoted the program in various ways including a trivia contest and promotional videos created with students in the UWFox video production class.
Created in recognition of two former staff members who taught at UWFox, these awards have been given annually at the university since 2000. Marilee White was a lecturer in English and Larry White was a professor of political science.
