Schools, Groups & Weddings

In addition to a regular public schedule, the Barlow planetarium presents shows to private groups and school groups throughout the year.  The dome has also been used for weddings, engagements and other special events.

Please note: groups of 10 or more people may also attend any of our public shows at a reduced group rate.  Please contact our Box Office (920-832-2848) to plan a trip to a public show, or to purchase bulk tickets, and receive the group discount.

Groups as small as 10 and as large as 350 have enjoyed private events at the Barlow Planetarium and adjacent UW-Fox Valley facilities.

Throughout the academic year and during summer months, the Barlow Planetarium presents special school presentations for K-12 groups. To date, over 120,000 students have visited the Barlow Planetarium on FIELD TRIPS!

Engagements & Weddings

Several engagements--carefully planned by the Barlow & a surprise to the future fiancee--were successful at the Barlow.  In fact, no one has ever received a "No" when the question is popped among the stars on our dome!  More than 15 couples have been married under the stars (no worries about rain).  Please call us at 920-832-2868 if you would like more information on these events and a wedding brochure.  We will also set up a complimentary meeting to show you what you can do in the dome for your engagement/wedding.
