UW Fox Valley Women’s Basketball
2009-2010
The UW Fox Valley Women’s Basketball team is looking to rebuild and gain respect this season. The 2009-10 edition of the Cyclones will display all new faces as all members of the team are first-year athletes . The Cyclones will focus on a strong inside presence as well as on solid perimeter shooting with an up-tempo flair.
“The talent is here,” comments Coach Natz regarding her team. “It’s just a matter of getting the players to blend so that we are able to play well at the start of the season and then even better as the season progresses. The challenge for us is to get talented young players to play at a championship level.”
This year’s roster includes: Yuntle McLester (Oneida Nations), Tori Thern (FVL), Randi Wieters (Weyauwega-Fremont), Breana DeCoursin (FVL), Rachael Pethke (New London), Katie Miller (Brillion), Amanda Chavez (Triumph), Cassi Haumschild (Wautoma), and Brittany Blob (FVL).
