Advising Process

New Students

  • Admitted students will receive information about placement tests dates, orientation, and advising/registration dates in the mail

  • You will meet with an advisor and register immediately after your scheduled orientation

Continuing Students

  • Watch for postcard indicating advising and registration information (generally, postcards are mailed out in October for Spring early registration and March for Fall early registration) Reminder: Keep your address current with Student Services.
  • Check out the current advising/registration dates.
  • Meet with your advisor early and register as early as possible for your scheduled timeframe for best course selection.

Re-entry and Transfer Students
